September Blog Hop - Fall in Love with the New Holiday Catalog

For my project today I am using the Dashing Deer bundle, the

Delicate Lace Edgelits die and the Bright Copper  Shimmer paint .

Lets get to it!

Supplies used:

Dashing Deer stamps 147728

Detailed Deer thinlits  147915

Delicate Lace  Edgelits  147053

 Gray Granite Cardstock  146983
 Copper Foil sheet  142020
 Copper Glimmer paper  147817
Shimmery White Cardstock ( Inside of card )  101910
 Joyous Noel Specialty DSP   147816

Twinkle Builder Punch  146321 ( Stars )

Bright Copper Shimmer paint  147045

Stamping Sponges   141337

Stamparatis  146276

Foam Adhesive Strips   141825

Tombow Liquid Glue   110755

 White Envelope  107301

Measurements & Instructions:

8 1/2" x 5 1/2"  Gray Granite CS  scored at  2 1/8", 4 /14" on the 8 1/2" side

4 1/4" x 5 1/2"  Gray Granite CS

4" x 5 1/4"  Copper Foil sheet

3 3/8" x 3 1/4"  Copper Glimmer paper

4" x 5 1/4"  Shimmery White CS  ( Inside of card )

5" x 3 3/4"  Joyous Noel Specialty DSP

Lets do our stamping first.

Line up your stamps on the Stamparatis

Shake up Glimmer paint then put a very small amount on a piece of plastic packaging

Lightly tap your sponge in the paint  then  onto your stamp. Gently close the flap and stamp your image. You may need to do this twice. If you press too hard it gives it a smeared look.

Stamp envelope while you have your paint out.

Set these aside to dry

Next, lets cut/punch out the pieces that we will need to finish this card

Now lets place the Foam strips on the backside of the card front as shown

Peel backing off of foam strips only around the deer and place

copper glimmer paper on top  to cover the opening of the deer.

Only peel back about 1" of backing on outside edges of foam strips leaving tips pointed out.

Turn over and place on foil sheet in center. This allows you a little wiggle room to get it straight.

After lined up, place your hand on card front and start pulling tabs off one by one!
Perfect placement every time this way!!!

Live and learn and share, RIGHT? (smiles)

Use small dabs of glue on the thicker places of your cutouts and let it get tacky by waiting a minute or less

Place glue on the bottom section that is scored at 2 1/8 of your card base. Take your completed card front and lay it directly on top matching up on all 4 sides.  Stand it up to help align.

It is so much prettier in person!

I hope you enjoyed my project this month!

I Love making others SMILE...... and a card is a great way to do that!

This Month we are focusing on Birthday cards!

I loved the Spring Time Foils Designer Series Paper from Sale A Bration!!!!

It is my favorite DSP EVER!!!!!!!

I am using Bouquet Bunch Framelits as the main focus of my card today.  Paired with this DSP and Silver/Gold Foil, I can't go wrong..... (Smiles)

Here is the inside of my card.

Card Base   8 1/2 x 5 1/2  scored at  4 1/4

Silver Glimmer paper  4 x 5 1/4

Spring Time Foil DSP   3 3/4 x 5

Cut out these pieces using scraps of Gold/Silver foil and Gold glimmer paper. ( The inside of the square is 2")

A little TIP  I use when trying to get something straight.... Line it up on your Paper Trimmer. You can see it from the top and the bottom!!!!

Start gluing down each layer using Tombow.

Now tape off the part of the stamp that you are not wanting to show. Ink it up, THEN take off the tape before you stamp it.

Banner cut the ends with your snips. Then layer it on a piece of Silver foil sheet and banner cut those ends.

Use Dimensionals to attach the sentiment to card front.

Stamp the inside of card

February Glitter Queens Blog Hop Treat Holders

February Blog Hop

Hello Everyone and Welcome ,

     Glad you could join us!

Here is my Mini Treat box Holder....( and a matching card I made from my leftover 3x3 swaps)

I used the  "Sure Do Love You"  Bundle for this project with a little tweeking!

I started off with a piece of   DSP cut at 4 1/4 X 8 1/2 .

I placed 1 end right up to the straight edge just before the tabs. Now bring up the other end all the way up to the top of the lid. place it in the Big Shot and run it through.

Now place the straight edge in the corner of the Score Board and score at 3 1/4  & 3 3/4  to create a bottom for the box.  Fold all of the score lines.

Cut out the tabs in the center on both sides.

Now punch out a tab with the 3/4" circle punch as shown.

Put some Tombow on the outside flaps and put the Mini treat box together.

Now we are going to take the sentiment "Just For You" and tap it in the Versa Mark, then into the Melon Mambo Ink Pad then right onto your Card stock.  Sprinkle clear Embossing powder on it and heat set it with your Heat tool.    Voila' ...... Now you have a shiny sentiment that catches your eye!         It is so much prettier in person!

Cut it into three pieces and place Mini Dimensionals on the backs of each word.

Stamp the large heart in Melon Mambo and cut it out with the matching Die.  Also cut out 1 in gold foil. Cut a small heart out with Gold foil as well.

Attach the large hearts together with Tombow liquid glue.

Attach hearts to Treat box with Dimensionals.

Add some embellishments then

Fill with your favorite treats!!

Here is the card opened.

January Glitter Queens Blog Hop " All Things New"

Hello Everyone!!!!

  GlitterQueenHop LOGO

Welcome to this months Blog Hop!

Here is my project for this months Hop1514949353050261994100

Today I am show casing the  Cake soiree Bundle {147627} from the 2018 Occasions Catalog as well as the Celebrate You {146840} thinlits dies.

So I started with a 4.25" X 11" piece of card stock.

I scored it at 5.5" and  9".

My card Card front is 4" X  5.25.

I used the 2nd to the Largest  "Lots of Labels" Framelits to cut out the center of the card,  then embossed it using the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder for added Dimension.  { I will save the piece that I cut out and use it on a later Project}

Turn card front over and place large dimensionals on the bottom section below the score line as shown in picture. Turn over and attach.

Now place mini dimensionals on card front as shown in picture.  Attach cake stand with Tombow.

I used embossing powder and Versa Mark to create these elegant looking cakes. I cut them out and assembled them like so.

I used silver foil and silver Glimmer paper on this project.

Assemble card front.

Attach CELEBRATE using tombow. This acts as a stopper to keep  the card open while being displayed.

Now stamp the envelope as a finishing touch!

Here are a couple Cake toppers  I made as well....

Hope you enjoyed my project today!
