Hello everyone.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I have been up to!

   20170904_211834

For this fun card I used Lemon Zest as the main stamp set. I brought in Coffee Cafe stamp set for the Straw and the Ice cubes.   I used Sharing Sweet Thoughts stamp set for the Jar. It is a cleaner looking jar then that of the Jar of Love stamp set.

  My card base is 8 1/2 X 5 1/2.  Front and inside layers are 5 1/4 X 4.

20170904_225115

For this card I used the stamp sets; In This World for the sentiments/Inside butterfly, Touches of Texture for the speckles on the front of the card and Watercolor Wings Bundle for the butterfly on the front of the card.  I embossed with Fluttering embossing folder.

  Card base is 4 1/4 X 11.  Front/Inside is 4 X 5 1/4.

20170904_211749

For this last card I used The Happy Birthday Thinlit on Foil Frenzy Paper.  The present stamp is from the set Weather Together.  Card base is 8 1/2 X 5 1/2.

First Fridays Blog Hop Colorful Seasons Mini pizza box with cards

Welcome back everyone!!!!

Todays Blog Hop is all about FALL.

Let's see what I have planned for you......

20170830_210126

Today I will be sharing how I made these cute fall 3x3 note cards and matching envelopes.

For my 3D project, we are decorating this cute, cute, cute 3.5 x 3.5 mini Pizza box that can be found in the 2017 Stampin Up Holiday Catalog.

Lets get started!

20170830_132758

Supplies needed:

(4) 3x6 Very Vanilla card stock scored at 3"  (101650 )

(4) 3x3 Envelopes  (145829)

(4) 2.75 x 2.75 Cajun Craze  (119684)

(4) 2.5 x 2.5 DSP Painted Autumn  (144613)

2.25 x 10"  strip of Glimmer paper  (133719) (for intricate leaf die)

2.25 x 2 piece of Very Vanilla card stock (To stamp Leaf for lid)

3.5 x 3.5 Copper Foil  (142020) for lid

3 x 3 Cajun craze card stock

2' Copper Metallic thread (141696)

Garden Trellis embossing folder  (143741)

Mini Pizza box (144645)

Baby wipe / baggie

Soft Sky refill (131161)

Cajun Craze refill (119790)

Lemon Lime Twist refill (144092)

Cajun Craze ink pad (126965)

Tombow liquid glue (110755)

Dimensionals  (104430)

Colorful Seasons Bundle (145348)

Layer DSP onto Cajun Craze CS,  Then layer that onto the V.Vanilla scored CS . Do this for all 4 cards.

Cut Glimmer paper with the intricute leaf die.   (Tip) I have found that if you peel the very back layer of the Glimmer paper off,  all of the little pieces come right out and it cuts in one pass through the big shot.  Attach to card fronts using Tombow.

20170830_151944

Take the ink refills, starting with the lightest color and drop a few drops on the baby wipe. Do the same with the rest of the ink refills. Take the solid leaf stamp and lightly press it on the baby wipe then stamp it on on your 2 x 2 piece of very vanilla CS. Repeat this process  and stamp the insides of all 4 cards as well as the fronts of the envelopes.

Ink the intricate leaf stamp with Cajun Craze and stamp on top of the leaf on the envelopes.

20170830_151811

Now for the Mini Pizza box.....

Glue together the Cajun Craze 3 x 3 onto the Copper foil 3.5 x 3.5. Emboss using the Garden Trellis Embossing folder.

Attach to folded Pizza box using Dimensionals. Attach the Glimmer paper leaf to the top of the solid leaf cut out.

20170830_205932

Wrap the Copper Metallic thread around your hand several times and attach to back of leaf using dimensionals. Attach to box top with dimensionals.

Here is a picture of the Bundle I used.

This project is very sparkly, and I'm sure anyone receiving it will be very pleased!

First Fridays August Blog Hop

Todays Hop is using Stampin Ups Designer Series Paper.

I chose "Be Merry"

Here are my projects. Lets get at it.

20170803_202606

My 1st project is a Ghirardelli Chocolate Pouch.

8 1/2 x 9 DSP

Here is a snap shot of the cut and score lines since I don't have a video. (smile)

20170723_131923

Adhere glue to each edge as shown, Then place a chocolate in the middle and press the edges into place.

20170723_131840

20170723_132700

20170803_214027

Take an 8 1/2 x 1/2 W white CS and glue to bottom of front flap.

Take an 8 1/2 x 1/2 Cherry Cobbler CS and punch out a decorative strip using the Decorative Ribbon Border punch and layer it onto the front flap.

  20170722_145804

Belly Band

8 1/2 x 1" DSP

8 1/2 x 1 1/4 CS

I embellished this using a Silver Doily, Snowflakes in glimmer paper from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits and a Faceted Gem to complete it!!

20170803_142219

20170803_150805

For my 2nd Project, I made my  NO CUT Paper Purse.

20170803_202618

We are using a 12 x 12 piece of Be Merry DSP.

Here is a snap shot of  all the score lines.

20170803_164643

Follow  all score lines as shown.

Fold all score lines. Add Tear & Tape to all 4 corners as shown.

 20170803_165317

Fold over and press to secure.

  20170803_165753

For the  purse handles , I used the Lots of Labels thinlits. The largest and then the 3rd one down.  Use 1 of the centers you just cut out for your flap of the purse.

20170803_184348

Attach the Handles on the inside of the purse using Tombow and making sure they are both even.

Next glue the flap to the back side of the purse. I  also used small magnets to make a closure for the purse and added a silver mini bow to it for some added glamour.

I used the Carols of Christmas Bundle to make the tag.

The sentiment is from Nature Sings and I punched it out with the Classic Label punch.

I used the 3/8" Silver edged ribbon to attach the tag to my purse.

I loved how these turned out for one of my card classes.

I used the retired Dog Tag punch for the sockets and the screw is from the "Nailed it" suite, also retired.( Just using up some of my embellishments)  The yellow shadow is from the stamp set "Beautiful You"

Bridal Shower Gifts

20170613_132643

I had an order to try and make these glasses for a friend(Dee) to give as a gift to her Niece for her Bridal Shower.

It was a definite learning Experience of what NOT TO DO for sure...LOL

I used  Folk Art Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint. The BRIDES Glass only took 2 coats of White paint, The Coral glasses was up to 6 coats and I was already over it...Sigh.... I could still see some of the strokes through the light but I felt like I was not going to get rid of them so I stopped at the 6 coats!!!

I used Rhinestones (144220)  on the Brides glass and Dazzling Details in Silver on the Bridesmaids Glasses.

I took 8 drops of Calypso Coral ink refill  (122934) in a spritzer (126185)  filled with alcohol to make my own dye and spritzed my netting to match my paint. They turned out really cute. Some day I will try making a tuxedo glass!
